The sub-point Service > Settings > Base > Signal accuracy allows you to specify a level of accuracy for any ToolScope signal. The ToolScope enters estimated values when a signal is first used for monitoring.
The values entered have an impact on almost all monitoring procedures. They reflect which inaccuracy/deviation the ToolScope incorporates in its calculations for the respective sensor signal.
Monitoring will never cling closer to its limits than specified by the numerical value. The control will limit itself to override values of approximately 100% if the deviation between the target value and the sensor signal is less than the numerical value of the setting.
When the machine is cold, a safety factor is added to the signals.
After starting initial monitoring, check if the signal has greater inaccuracies/is more irregular than is reflected by the numerical value of the setting. If necessary, correct the value to a value that appears more realistic to you.
