The following service efforts should be assumed when an app is made running live at a machine by one of our service technicians.

TS-PM

Reference value for 1 NC program with max. 16 tools at a machine with 1 spindle or max. 10 tools at a double spindle machine. Further assumption is a machining time per workpiece of at about 20 min.

TS-Wear

 

 

If TS-PM is installed and configured at the same machine, TS-Wear is explained to the customer and roughly configured within the above work.

Additional efforts should only be assumed, if the tool wear has special attention. For this case it is beneficial, if the customer has 2-3 worn and sharp tools at the hand, when the KOMET technician arrives. The production must be in a stable state (no program changes) when the wear limits are configured.

Keep in mind, as written in the standard quotation text blocks:

The mounting of the sensor can - in dependency of the machine - take much time. It is highly recommented (and written in our quotations as duty of the customer), that the maintenance of the customer installs the acceleration sensor before the technician from KOMET does the rest of the work.

This decreases the duration of the machine stand still time by moving the sensor integration in a time interval of regular machine maintenance.

The efforts should be quoted / offered / ordered together with the apps, if there is no personnel at the end customer, which is used in using the apps.
