This article is about the need to show the "Siemens header" of HMI advanced although you use TSVNCC. TCVNCC shall normally not hide the header and instead leave empty places on the corresponding places of the screen.

As of version 20150220, you can integrate the Siemens header in TSVNCC and change the variables of the TSVNCC window.

To have the Siemens header displayed in the TSVNCC, the added content must be changed in the regie.ini file. To do this, the entry "HeaderOnTop" is set to True in the added content. The content should then read as follows.

[TaskConfiguration]
Taskxx = name := OEMFRAME, CmdLine := "F:\\OEM\\ Brinkhaus\\TSVNCC.exe", HeaderOnTop := True, ClassName := "TSVNCC", WindowName := "TSVNCC", PreLoad :=False

The header will now cover part of the TSVNCC area. It is therefore necessary to adjust the display size of the TSVNCC.

In TSVNCC.ini, change the values DEFINED_X, DEFINED_Y, DEFINED_WIDTH and DEFINED_HEIGHT so that the ToolScope and the header do not overlap. The values are dependent on the resolution. If the machine manufacturer has not modified the display layout, the following values apply:

Resolution

DEFINED_X

DEFINED_Y

DEFINED_WIDTH

DEFINED_HEIGHT

640 x 480

0

100

640

380

800 x 600

0

125

800

475

1024 x 768

0

160

1024

608

1280 x 1024

0

212

1280

812

Example: You wish to adjust the TSVNCC to the Siemens header. The system has a resolution of 800 x 600. In this case, the four values will read as follows:

DEFINED_X=0
DEFINED_Y=125
DEFINED_WIDTH=800
DEFINED_HEIGHT=475

In the ToolScope, under "Service" / "Settings" / "Display" / "Resolution", activate the option "Apply from the control panel". This ensures that TSVNCC reports your planned resolution to the ToolScope and the ToolScope automatically matches it.

The control system and the ToolScope must then be restarted.

Please note that the softkey bars on the sides of the ToolScope are not to scale with the softkey bars on the sides of the control system.

The following figure shows the TSVNCC with Siemens header.
