This article describes the filter "Trigger" which can be used to generate trigger signals from other sensor signals of the ToolScope.

The "Trigger" signal filter uses any desired sensor signal to form a binary trigger condition. The output signal of the filter switches to "1" when a defined signal height is exceeded. If the input signal falls below another likewise predefined threshold, the output signal switches to "0".

This filter is particularly well suited to generating a trigger condition to start and stop monitoring based on an analog sensor signal.

You can define whether the status transitions between "0" and "1" should occur on rising or falling values in each case.

From software version V10, it is also possible to specify a switch-on delay and replace the switch-off condition with a holding time.

The "Trigger" signal filter is only visible if the internal "ShowDriverTrigger" setting is set to "true".
